PTI Stamp Affaire - Color Blocking

My final card for PTI's Stamp Affaire is for Color Blocking with Lexi Daly.  I didn't get very creative with this one, changed the colors a bit, but just basically copied Lexi. Another fun technique!

This is my last post for Stamp Affaire.  It's the first year that I've participated and I'm amazed with all the great inspiration the PTI team gives us!  I've so appreciated all the work they put into this event!

Thanks PTI!

PTI Stamp Affaire - Watercolor like a Master

Here's my project for Watercolor like a Master with Kay Miller.  This was a great technique that I'll definitely use again. I needed a New Home card so I used an old magnetic alphabet set from Making Memories for the "your new home" phrase. It took longer to get those letters straight than it did to make the card lol.  I think I need a small clear acrylic alphabet set that I can use with my Misti.  That would definitely be faster.

One more project to post...

PTI Stamp Affaire - Pointillism Play

I've created a card for Pointillism Play with Heather Nichols.  This was a time consuming technique but I do really love the results!  I used Peonies on Parade for this card.  I also used my new Clarity brushes to very lightly edge the Pale Peony cardstock with some Pale Peony Ink.  I love these brushes! I have struggled with blending ink with the foam pads and it was always so difficult to get consistent results.

On to the next project...

PTI Stamp Affaire - Floral Impressionism

I'm joining in with a project for Floral Impressionism with Melissa Phillips. This technique was really fun and does create a soft romantic look. I also used the color inspiration from the Georgia O'Keefe master color recipe.  I need help to get out of my usual pink and green color schemes.

Papertrey Ink Stamp Affaire - Gilded in Gold

I'm back after a little hiatus. It's Papertrey Ink's annual Stamp Affair event and I just had to join in all the fun!  I wasn't feeling the mood to create for awhile but PTI's Stamp Affaire is just what I needed to fix that. Sometimes you just have to force yourself to sit down and start stamping and then usually you can get back into it. So that's what I did!

My first projects were for Gilded in Gold with Danielle Flanders. For my little notecards I used the Don't Forget to Write kit and Bitty Bouquets.  I used the gold leaf on the letter M and the "thanks" and "hello". The scroll image was embossed with Queen's Gold Embossing powder by Ranger which matched the Gold leaf really well. I loved using the Liquid Gold Leaf and I'll be using that more in the future!

Thanks for taking a look!
